Using reliable tools for your Internet marketing business is an absolute must these days. With the amount of competition that’s out
there, there’s very little room for errors and even less room for guesswork.
A problem I’ve encountered with some marketers is the fact that they tend to get lost with the number of tools that they have to use for a variety of tasks. I agree: it can get very complicated when you’re new. Fortunately, there are some “one-stop” solutions to this multi-headed tool boondoggle.
One of my favourites is Raven Tools.
If you haven’t heard about it, Raven Tools is a nice suite of search engine optimization (SEO) and social media tools. With it, you can perform all sorts of tasks such as keyword research, website optimization, social media account management and report generation. Here’s what I think of raven Tools in a few quick shots:
What’s awesome
The Interface – You will literally NOT get lost working with Raven Tools. The tabs, menus and buttons present their respective tasks with text and you can customize which data you want to see on your dashboards. Everything is in one place and it’s all within your reach, eliminating the confusion that comes with using several different tools.
Research features – Raven tools helps you do your homework by partnering with known companies like SEMRush and Wordtracker. Besides the usual keyword research functions that tells you about your likely competitors and how much you should bid for your ads, you can also search for websites that can potentially link to you. You see, it’s not just a tool to help you search for a high valued keyword, it helps you rank for it.
Link management – Raven tools’ link management features (under the links tab) lets you analyze your backlinks. It assigns quality scores to websites that link to you for you to determine whether they’re quality sites or not. Raven tools also uses SEOMoz’s MOZranking system to measure just how popular your website is through its links.
Content management – You can manage your content through Raven tools’ content tab. From there, you can order pre-written, keyword rich articles through Textbroker to boost your SEO ranking. All you need to do is describe the type of article you want with its target keywords and Textbroker does the rest. You can also create, publish and schedule your blog posts through Raven tools’ blog manager.
Email marketing features – Raven tools can integrate with two email marketing services, namely: Mail Chimp and Campaign Monitor. Just obtain your respective application programming interface (API) from these email marketing services and Raven tools can monitor their progress for you.
Social Media features – You can monitor how your business is doing in one of the most popular segments in the Interwebs today: social media. By tracking popular social sites like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, Raven tools does a good job of letting you know just how talked about your website is. Through tweets, mentions, page visits and much more, you can make decisions with what you want to do from your social media campaign.
The Verdict
Raven tools prides itself in being a suite that monitors a website in every aspect of Internet marketing. It does more than that, however, by introducing keyword and link research functions that can improve your site’s rankings. From social media to organic search results, Raven tools can offer the data you need for you to improve your website and business.
