Being a computer guy myself (Systems Engineer) I need to have my reputation entirely intact in anything I support and I have to say I wouldn't endorse Elegant Themes for a serious blog or maybe I would if they weren't to use dynamic elements that behave weird on production. On the other hand, I would completely endorse your current theme, which not only looks amazing but it has so many features that I'm considering to get it myself for a few projects.
