My Do-Over and How to Make Money with Video (And Mojitos)

Saturday night…

I’m sitting in one of my favorite clubs in the country. It’s called “Float”. It’s the 4th floor roof deck of the Hard Rock Cafe in San Diego. It’s 72 degrees (Of course it is), the DJ has God-Like musical taste, the Mojito cocktail mint leafs are the perfect combination of sweet and tart…

…and the staff is one human example after another that has won the genetic lottery.

And what am I doing?

I’m teaching.

Gathered around one of the club’s signature gas fire pits is a small group of 12. They’re attendees’ of a Real-Estate seminar that was being held over the weekend, and I was invited to visit for the festivities.

And make no mistake, I am being ferociously festive. Yes Yes.

However, one of the witnesses to my well-lubricated pontifications simply could NOT resist asking “the Question”.

“Andy, if you had to start all over again, what would you do?”

Once in a while, the cosmic tumblers of “timing” all click into place and provide you with an insanely great “moment”.

This was one of those times…

The music stopped (Song change), and all of the fire-pits went out (Temporary glitch), except the one I was standing at.

The silence cleared the way for my answer, which I hadn’t realized I’d give until that-exquisite-moment…

I’m toying with this headline for it:

Here’s the deal on that:

During my “Rant at the [Hard] Rock”, a witness had the presence of mind to flip on the “record audio” app on their iPhone. They recorded it all, and sent it to me.

There’s some AWESOME nuggets in that recording, so I’m having it transcribed and using it as the basis of the report. I would guess that it would be ready just in time for Thanksgiving.

Imagine that.
