Our most excellent and reliable cohort, Google, is at it again. They’re totally screwing up my rotation.
- After boondoggling the NoFollow function…
- After making Page ONE Rankings below the fold almost meaningless…
- After screwing up Page Rank Sculpting…
…They went and decided to make only a precious few links on any one web page count towards outbound page reputation.

I’m a pretty lucky guy – most of the time, Leslie Rohde and Dan Thies still take my calls (Takes a dozen tries from phone numbers they don’t recognize, but hey…).
So when Google declared Shenanigans on most of the core SEO principals that I’ve come to count on, I lit the bat signal and reminded both of the SEO characters who has still got the pictures from that depraved night at Benihana’s.
Miraculously, they agreed to fix my stuff, and do a webinar so you can to.
Here’s what will be whined about (by me, mostly), discussed, and what you can do to ultimately FIX the injustice.

Yes, Google has done it again. The new Local Google Search with its Google 10 Pack has managed to elevate some really lousy websites to the top of the search listings. I’m looking forward to your webinar.
Hey Andy… You never cease to amaze me! First, you talk me into joining StomperNet which has helped me make millions. Then you introduced me to Dan Thies, who helped me keep those millions (well maybe not all of it?) Then you introduce me to Leslie, who… We’ll I’m not quite sure what he does , but he makes my head spin when he talks… But, I think he’s a smart guy?
Then you talk me into buying mac, and now at least I look like I am cool and smart when I bust it out on a plane! Now… You’re giving a bunch of cool free information away again. Dude… Thanks! Thats all I wanted to say!

I am just struggeling major with this, as old SEM knowledge just doesn’t cut it anymore and it’s becoming more and more a nuke the crap out of Google before they accept and rank your site well.

I was able to make the seminar tonight. WOW! This really went into come complex thinking (as always). Absolutely amazing webinar. I loved it because it really wasn’t a webinar…it was more of a conference call discussing cutting edge SEO stuff that people simply need to understand. It was more like being a fly on the wall listening in on a secret strategy conversation that you were having with friends you trusted in the SEO biz…

Webinar was great and entertaining. I have a site that I’m worried about dupe content because i have various categories that are cross linked and the content on the pages is largely excerpts with the exception of the main posts. I’ve heard and was told by others that Google doesn’t consider excerpts as duplicate content but I’m tending to not believe it. Could you please shed some light on it as when watching your duplicate content video it would appear to me that it definitely would count. because the titles and the excerpts would be identical. for instance on my home page all the excerpts are listed and in their own categories, or other categories where they would merit inclusion.

I hope you will post a copy, so those that missed it can see the webinar. I’m rehabbing to help me deal with a back injury (85% paraplegic now), and net access can be really spotty. Usually if there’s a webinar I want/need to watch. =8-0 I hate missing info, as you so over deliver.
I never fail to get a new viewpoint, or thought to consider.I don’t know how you function with so much content in your head, trying to get out.
