So… “Pirate Dan Thies” and I had planned to have the “Natural Leverage” webinar registration form posted yesterday.
But the lease was up on the condo that I was staying in when we first moved to San Diego. Yesterday, we moved into a new “Brady Bunch style” rental house on a cliff overlooking the pacific.
It’s awful. The waves are really loud and obnoxious – they just keep crashing and crashing. And the damn cool breeze is ridiculous, and it smells like orchids all the time. And I get FIVE bars of signal on my phone – and it’s from AT&T! (“Less Bars in Less Places”) And if another employee from Starbucks says, “You have an AWESOME day” – I’m going postal. Luckily, Dan set me straight and back on the path to productivity and seriousness by emailing me this:
And THAT is Reason #184 why you have Master Mind partners. Now that I’m back on track and over my depression, I’m REALLY excited about this Webinar. The accompanying Mind Map that we made for this one looks like a printed circuit board of GOODNESS. Here’s a screen shot:
The part you’re looking at is from just ONE planned topic for the Webinar – it’s called the “Moccasin Method“. Never one to be obscure, allow me a moment to explain: Have you ever heard the expression “Try walking a Mile in their Moccasins?” Basically, because I suck at copy writing (no lie), I had to learn how to “un-suck to survive” by cheating, essentially. I use a kind of butchered Story Telling technique that I borrowed from Hellenistic Greek Literature (Circa 300 BC) to create empathetic experiences that over-come implicit cirumstan…. Ya know what? Just register for the webinar and I’ll explain it there. That’s one of the 4 other topics we’ll be discussing – it’s gonna be a solid 90 minutes or so of heavy stuff. Here’s some other subjects we’ll deep dive on:
- How to do Profitable Lead Generation – why the promise of “Traffic” is completely empty without the right response mechanisms.
- The Real ROI behind target audience segmentation – how your list of subscribers and customers wants RELEVANT offers from you, and how to give them.
- When to move the free line, and when to pull it BACK (Your market will tell you)
- Using “Concussion” planning to fix multiple problem areas of your business all at once.
Now, it’s very cool to sign up for the content and presentation. What would be even cooler is if you actually ATTENDED. Ya know? You’re probably sick of hearing about Go To Webinar’s 1000-person limit, yadda yadda yadda. And you’ve probably been told to get all stressed out because “the webinar is gonna be popular, there will be a flood of viewers, etc. etc. etc.” Seriously, I have NO clue about attendance for this one. None. Zip. Yeah, it will be about some stuff that I’ve never talked about, and there will be some behind the scenes stuff that Dan (you heard he quit as a StomperNet staff member there, right? He’s still on faculty though) and I team-tagged while we worked together at StomperNet… But I honestly don’t know how many folks are gonna show up on the actual Webinar day. If it’s over 1000, that would be cool and kinda lame because some folks won’t get in. So, whatever you do, show up early. BTW, I’m diggin this new “Make a Disclosure” thing that I’ve been using lately. I hope you have too. Let me lay one more on ya: In the interest of Full Transparency and Disclosure, there’s a warning at the bottom of the Webinar Registration page. It’s related to the Guru Therapy thing that Dan and I are also spinning up. No BS or anything like that – I just want you to know what we’re up to and I thought you might appreciate the candor. And finally, if you read the first part of the Webinar Registration form out loud with a thick French accent, it should be kinda funny. Hat Tip to Saturday Night Live and Max and Gabe’s “Internet Thing”. Here’s that fancy link to register! http://www.andyjenkinsblog.com/gururegistration See ya in a couple days! Andy “Yes, I’m Greek & American Indian” Jenkins P.S. If you skipped to the bottom of this post, here’s the link to register for the Free Webinar on Pirate Treasure Marketing. Details above.
