Press Release: Andy Jenkins Leaves StomperNet
Hi everyone!
The following is the joint press release that StomperNet (Meaning, Brad) and I collaborated on. Actually, that’s a complete lie – Jayne Hallock of StomperNet wrote it and Brad and I said “Looks good – SEND!” This is the same release that they are currently publishing.
I’m going to post it here in it’s entirety, and ask you to leave you own comments and thoughts. Then over the next day or so, I’m going to post a little FAQ thang and talk about my personal and professional reasons that lead me to hang up my Stomper Spurs and put on my Lone Wolf Internet Marketer costume — complete with cape and mask.
Seriously, I’d like to hear from you, so drop me a comment. It might take a while before your comment gets posted, cause I’ve got it set to manual approve.
Here ya go!
The Evolution of an Internet Marketing Titan. Today, StomperNet announces that the management isn’t the only thing about to change.
July 30, 2009 - Last week, Andy Jenkins and Brad Fallon negotiated the future of their online school of IM education, StomperNet. When they emerged, Brad Fallon was the new CEO and Andy Jenkins was moving to California. Each is pleased with the turn of events. And each other.
“That’s about the size of it,” reports Jenkins. “It’s really that simple. People are speculating like crazy about what kind of behind-the-scenes dramatics went on, but it’s something far more boring: I was ready to pass the StomperNet baton in order to work on other stuff. Brad was ready to take it.”
“The only fireworks are those we see happening online with all the gossip and rumors.” chuckles Brad Fallon “Frankly, we were surprised by how much everyone cared! Happy…but surprised.”
But it’s no wonder this announcement has caused so much speculation. StomperNet, which opened its doors in October 2006, has been the talk of the IM space for years. They broke records when they first launched, selling over 2000 membership slots, at a price point of $10,000/year (Or $800/month.) Over the last three years, they’ve assembled a faculty of world-class subject matter experts on virtually every aspect of internet marketing. This faculty guides and educates their members (who refer to themselves a “Stompers.”)
Jenkins, Fallon and this esteemed StomperNet faculty have also compiled the largest, most comprehensive IM library of over 1400 videos, audios, and other online courses. They host a vibrant community of online entrepreneurs, who regularly share tips and advice in the famous StomperNet forums. Forums that are currently going almost 200,000 posts strong.
StomperNet Live events are also legendary, attracting top speakers from all over the world to address Stompers and help them grow their businesses. The popular “site review” section of the Live Events also makes StomperNet Live events extra unique. Attendees can submit their URL and enjoy a thorough one-on-one analysis of their site, conducted by a StomperNet faculty member. Attendees have called these personal reviews “priceless” and “the smartest thing I’ve ever done for my business.”
As if that wasn’t enough, last year StomperNet launched another new product. One that was – once more – unlike anything else seen in the IM market. Called “The Net Effect“, this printed monthly journal is sent to subscribers in more than 200 countries, and is more handbook than magazine. Its focus? Teaching readers tactics and strategies that will allow them to maximize their presence (and profitability) online. Each issue features instructive, execution-focused articles penned by the StomperNet faculty and other featured writers. At the end of each issue is a summarizing checklist that combines all the action items discussed throughout of the magazine. Readers report that they love to tear these checklists out and work on them each month.
“As big as StomperNet is right now…we’re about to get bigger.” explains Fallon, “I can’t go into the details yet, but suffice it to say that this Fall will see some incredible new offerings from StomperNet. Stuff people have been begging us to do for years now. We’re incredibly excited about the future of StomperNet and our mission of supporting internet entrepreneurism around the world.
Intense, eh?
Like I said, in my next post, I’m gonna drill down and talk about the juicy stuff – all the sex, drugs, illegitimate children, violence, gun smuggling and ouija boards.
And then there’s a bit with a dog
and a slip n slide. It’s totally sinister.
Talk soon!
AJ
P.S. I put this blog up like 17 minutes ago, so forgive the stock header graphic, etc. I’ll replace it with something appropriately delicious as soon as I can remember my log ins to Clip Art.com

It could be worse. I could be unemployed. Oh... wait...

Welcome back to the real world, Andy!
J/K of course – wishing you all the best. Only one question: Does this mean I won’t get to see you at SNL8 next week??
Andy. Despite all the crappy frustration I may, at times, feel inside about the “Infamous Launch” of StomperNet’s “The Net Effect” and the trouble I still have with delivery to this day, I just want you to know that:
1) I did not know that you resigned from StomperNet until you tweeted it to me.
2) The “Net Effect” is sooo incredibly good that I still “BEG” for my $$ to be taken for it
3) I still think you are a “Pure Genius Super Ninja ZenMaster Jedi Awesomeness” knda dude, ok? And I mean that, I’m NOT just blowing smoke up your….NOSE!
Want proof I’m being honest? ok, you asked for it: All that cool stuff I just said about you is true, I really like you….Almost as much as I like “Lynn Terry”! There, how’s that for brute honesty?
Which sssplains why I made this comment as a “Reply” to Lynn’s Comment. Oh, and hey Lynn. NO! I’m not stalking you (I git, I mean I get to do that PLENTY in the SSWT E-Forum, right?).
Lynn Mentioned your new blog address here, by design I’m sure (snicker snicker), so here I am, and Lynn…Here you were.
One more thing: I’m unable to make it to Atlanta but I was still hoping I could use the phrase “So what is the deal with IMTW8? (Snicker again).
Thanks all!

People LOVE Drama!
Good luck in your new endeavors Andy. I love reading your stuff.
Hey Andy,
Just saw Brad in Las Vegas this past weekend, Great time! All the rumors and speculation about Stomper are pretty cool to listen to for sure,
All I want to do is with you Both the Best and hope to hook up soon in the future.
Brad West ~ onomoney
Wow… and I thought the Taco Bell dogs death was big news! I’m sorry to see you taking the high road. You have certainly built quite a fan base. I know that whatever you choose to do you won’t have any problems with. Best of luck and keep us posted.
Wow.
That kinda came out of nowhere. Except now that I think about it, we’ve been seeing less and less of Andy Jenkins as the face of StomperNet lately. Heck, lately we’ve been seeing less and less of StomperNet as a whole.
Where have your cool videos been, Dude? I miss ‘em.
So, are you going to make your way out to the center of the IM universe in La Jolla, and joining the staff of the Kern Center for Information Marketing Mojo Scarcity-Scarcity?
Yeah?
Nah. Hmmmmm?
Hey Andy! Good luck with your new direction… and same to Brad as he takes the helm.
Can’t wait to hear the story about that dog and slip and slide.
Ryan
….Dish, already!
Hi Andy – I will miss your sense of humour and your riveting videos. (I still owe you a cocktail with umbrella, by the way). Whatever you do I’m sure you do it brilliantly.
Elizabeth
I wish you luck Andy. You, together with Paul Lemberg has changed the way I think & work (for the better)Hope you achieve whatever you are setting out for.
Good Luck, Sonny
Andy,
A former Stomper member, yet very proud former member. Your involvement in Stomper was paramount and your work with other faculty have the initial catalyst to my success for my Internet Marketing Agency, an online National Same Day delivery business and a 200 page info product.
I don’t follow people just to follow them, and you are someone I’m going to be keeping my eye on closely. I know you’ll continue to further your success and this announcement is not the end, but a beginning to both you and Stompernet.
Now the question is, what do I do to get your attention?! What’s next for you and how can I help you?!
Hi Andy,
Whatever you’re doing there enjoy it and i hope to see some teaching stuff from you in the future..doesn’t matter what, when you open the little hole under your nose we’re all ears
Dave
In an effort to totally clean the slate, will you be raffling away ownership to your ecommerce stores? Hey, had to ask.
Good luck, Andy. Looking forward to what you’ve got coming next. Unfortunately, I suppose this means we likely won’t see you in Atlanta next week, but somebody’s gotta be the barney, and for possibly the first time, it’s not going to be Kern.
Hi Andy,
Good luck with your future plans in California. I will miss seeing you at this years live event, but I look forward to seeing what you have up your sleeve next.
I knew someone into Über-manly “Medieval Swords” couldn’t hang out with a guy who sells sissy “Wedding Favors” forever…
Seriously though, best of luck to you Andy. I look forward to what you boil up in your IM cauldron down the road.
Wow! Even in the middle of some shocking news, you’ve still managed to write with your classic tongue-in-cheek style that leaves me wanting more. I can only imagine you crafting this with a devilish grin a la Benny Hill.
Best of luck to you on your new adventure. You will be sorely missed at StomperNet. Don’t disappear from the rest of us who enjoy your work, your wit, and all the intrigue!
your badass andy…you interested in a fresh jv?
Hi Andy, All the best in your future projects. I am sure that you and Stompernet will continue flourish albeit apart.
Thanks for bringing stompernet and the Net effect to me.
What about your non-stompernet activities? Are you still selling swords and stuff? Did you take all that inventory with you?
Nice blog for a newb, lol. Good to see you have a place to hang your shingle, ex-chief. Glad to see it didn’t take long for you to come out of retirement.
Andy I knew when we talked just a few weeks ago that you you had something big happening in your world. I guess the magnatude was something not expected. I have heard everyone say you have this intense work habit, and maybe it is time to unwind, re-tool and just relax awhile. The look out your new office is not too bad.. I am encouraged by discussions among the Stompers that you will still be a part of our world, and that Stompernet will always support yours too, I hope that is true, I cannot see raising an alternative to Stompernet, after all the blood, sweat and tears you poured into the company and project. I just know that without the voice and face it will not be the same.I don’t understand California though, with all the taxes and craziness there?, but I guess it is close to the movie folks..take care and Good Luck!

Congrats Andy! I really enjoyed all of your material and it was truly revolutionary! Can’t wait to see what you will be up to next. Seeya bro Shane!
Come on Andy… You’re not fooling anyone..
We know you are really hooking up with Rob Cowie to film The Blair Witch Male Stripper Project.
Come clean already … do I have to show the footage, it’s on video you know..
What the heck?!?! You ARE the only attractive character that Stompernet has and the whole face of it. Brad Fallon is slick, but boring. Oh, he dresses nice too but in no way repleases the loss of “attractive character-ness”
My bet is they’ll have to offer Stompernet for $40 a month.
My second bet is that you’re doing movies up in Hollywood.
@sethellsworth
Hey now…
You can’t knock Brad like that.
Maybe… Just maybe…
Brad has always been over-shadowed by Andy’s gigantic mouth. (I mean “strong personality”
And why in the hell was this the 3rd ranked organic listing in Google under the keyword “bukkake”? Not only is there no mention of Bukkake, (which I’m pretty pissed about) but you’ve only had this blog up for a few hours…
Wow!
Now that’s whatchya call SE-OH YEAH Mutha-Fucka!
I thought it was a joke when a friend of mine let me know today. You know you’re still gonna kill-it with whatever you decide to do after StomperNet, though. Are you still going to be in ATL with Maverick on August 6th? Hopefully, I’ll see you there….
Continued success, muthafucka:)
In a way it’s sad news for us but I hope it’s good for you. I guess in the end the one with the prettiest hair prevails.
I hope your move to California represents a change in location only… not a change in style.
Good luck Andy, thanks for all the help and please stay on the radar… I prefer my gurus a little rough around the edges.
Hi Andy,
This sucks! Since 2006, I’ve built an empire of websites with TOP rankings for TOP tier keywords all based around your teachings and I can’t believe you are leaving us! What will I do now? StomperNet hasnt been the same for a while now and I understand why.
If you ever need a new poster-child, call me! I won’t disappoint you !

Andy, hope you enjoy the change of direction.
Hi Andy,
Thanks for a great ride! I came into Stompernet through SMARTS and didn’t realize what an incredible place I had found until Live5. I was a newbie trying to stay afloat, but now I have no doubt that I’ll succeed and know I’m definitely “not alone”. I’ll miss your antics – thanks for making it fun! Much continued success to you! =)
So, the guy who ran the company that was the epicenter of Internet Marketing has moved to San Diego – the new epicenter of Internet Marketing. Already set my trackers to keep an eye out on you buddy.
Appreciated your leadership and your friendship. Will continue to look to you for both.
Paul
Sir Andrew! With you on that other coast, the genius factor on this one just flatlined! All the best to you and J – head to the Hotel Del on me for a full day at the spa – you deserve it!
LR
PS – put the slip n slide out for the recyclers last night – that and the crime scene tape. We should be good.
Andy,
Good luck with your new adventure.
Welcome to California. Your going to love it. Well maybe not the traffic or crowds, but otherwise.
-Jim
It isn’t going to be the same without you brother.
Makes no difference, I’ll always be your boy. I’ll be here anytime you need me.
Hi Andy,
Good luck with the move. That new view sure looks like a Frank Kern view. Maybe that explains the dog and the slippin’ slide.
RC
Well, Andy… I’ve started this comment a half dozen times, and I keep breaking down. It’s not going to be the same without you.
There will be more behind-your-back staff chatter about “Andy’s new word of the month.” “Pejorative” is still my favorite.
Seems like yesterday that this whole ride started. We drove this bus together for 9 months. I hope I can remember how to steer.
BTW, the next email I get from you about the perfect weather out there, we won’t be friends any more.
Hey Andy,
Good Luck in your new endeavors, We already miss you. Please keep in touch with the online world and our sincerest thanks for all you have done.
that picture…looks like la jolla. are you going to be neighbors with Frank??
Been a pleasure working with you boss, best wishes. I love your passion and drive and it was contagious to the whole community! Don’t be a stranger! But first, enjoy some time with the family! Well, you know where to find a rock-star web designer when you need one
AJ,
It’s been a helluva ride. SN and you in particular have taken me from internet nobody to, well…still internet nobody but with lots o cash overflowing my bank account. It’s been so cool how you teach how to take this IM stuff and apply it to “real” niches like mine. I am forever grateful to you for that brother. Will be missing your crazy, screaming rants from the stage as well as the occasional proposal. Best to you and your lovely bride.
Andy you are the smartest guy I know, period. The fact that you made SO many people millionaires is completely amazing to me.
I was with you since day one and as StomperNet evolved – and who knew it would turn it to such mega success.
You did of course
I want to thank you for constantly sharing your time, expertise, guidance and friendship with so many people, me included.
You deserve some time off my brother. I can’t wait to see what you’ve got working in that big brain of yours
Good luck, talk soon
I hope you enjoy California!
One of your good buddies left Orlando (and our father and son camping group) just recently for Hotel California, so I can’t say I am too surprised you are heading into the sunset too. The call of Hollywood is difficult to resist! Wish you all the best. I must admit though I find myself hoping you do stay in internet marketing with some alternative to Stompernet since you have been by far the most entertaining and energetic force since it’s inception. Yeah I imagine there is probably some noncompete clause.. blah de blah de blah.. but still I am sure you could find a way if the passion still burns outside the film industry.
Eric
Hey Andy, on your feed. Familiar pic. LaJolla? You’re not near that wacko with the long hair, are you? LOL
Andy really we miss you. I planned to visit the event just to see the live event.
Hope you won’t disappoint us. I wish you all the best for your Upcoming project.
Sri
Dude! So glad you have surfaced!
First… Thanks for the Wild ride, Disney has goth NOTHIN’ on you! Its been a EEEEEEEEE ticket ride!I really enjoyed being on board!
2nd… I may not have always agreed with you, (and thanks so much for creating an environment where I could voice that freely) But I ALWAYS knew you had the whole Stompernet families best interest in mind with whatever you did.
You are a very generous and sympathetic leader, one that many of us would have followed THROUGH the gates of hell. Such a powerful and magnanimous leader is unusual… I hope I get a chance to row your ship with you again!
Thanks Dude, I love ya!
John Jaworski
Hah! It’s not going to be hard to find you, the picture of your “new” is a dead giveaway.
Anyway, enjoy the new digs and whatever the “IM Cartel (TM)” created by Kern is up to… something big I’m sure.
Good luck to you Andy.
Hey Andy,

Andy, I wish you the best. In Atlanta, Fall 2008, in answer to a question I asked you, you shifted my paradigm when you told me that I could never be successful trying to do everything myself. Exactly what I needed to hear, and as I considered what you had done with StomperNet, you literally changed my entire perspective on what’s possible with a team and with the right leadership.
Now I have 7 other co-founders and we’ve been working on a website named CoolHotNot.com for the past year – and we’re about to rock the world of consumer electronics.
So I look forward to the day when our paths cross again and I can give you an appropriate thank you. Until then, I owe you, brother.
Cheers,

P.S. Did you ever try that muvee autoProducer software I gave you?
